The 2009 race season started off very cold. Hopefully now that the weather is finally getting nicer the girls will have better luck. Great News, Hailey (10 years old) decided to get back into the car and race this season. She is running  13.47 and 45 mph until she gains more confidence behind the wheel. Next year we will change her motor and get her going a bit faster. Rachel is doing very well this season. She was holding 1st but is now tied for second place.

July 18-21 2008

Grand Bend Motorplex hosted the Mopar Canadian Nationals, and for the first time Junior Dragster 7.90 Class was invited to participate. The Juniors ran a Heads-Up , Full 400 Pro Tree just like the Big Boys.Rachel was # 1 qaulifer  from Toronto Motorsports Park. She broke out by 5/1000 of a second. This a dissappointment but still a great experience.

Summit Team Finals -Bracket Race

Rachel has gone to Pittsburg Raceway Raceway Park to represent Cayuga Dragway September 25-29, 2008.The weather was not the greatest, but she did mange to get through second round of eliminations. Drama Queen treed the other racer , but sadly lost the race by 2/100’s of a second ( less than blink of an eye) Her car had slowed down by 1/10th of a second.
